My journey began in the early 1990s when I launched a group of companies focused on diverse industries—plant production, landscape design, irrigation systems, garden supply retail, public works, animal husbandry, and even bookstores.
Later, I expanded my career internationally. In Romania, I took on roles as Managing Partner and Project Manager, handling real estate portfolios and leading franchise and retail operations. I was responsible for managing valuable assets and organizing complex transactions, which was both challenging and rewarding.
My passion for humanitarian work brought me to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), where I’ve held many key roles. As a Technical & Logistics Coordinator and Project Coordinator, I’ve been involved in managing regular and emergency operations in some of the world’s most demanding environments, including Yemen, South Sudan, Iraq, Sudan, Lebanon, Nigeria, Uganda, Jordan, and the Philippines.
In Greece, I worked with the European Union Agency for Asylum, supporting migration and refugee response efforts. My work involved managing sites, coordinating administrative tasks, and providing essential services to vulnerable communities.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my humanitarian work has been mentoring and coaching. Guiding logistics managers and project teams to build their skills and enhance their efficiency has been an incredible opportunity to share my experience and help others grow.
Over the years, I’ve developed expertise in managing humanitarian operations, responding to emergencies, and leading complex commercial projects. My work and travel across more than 58 countries have given me a broad perspective and the ability to adapt to different cultures and challenges.
